PAWTUCKET, RI – Pet Food Experts (PFX), a leader in the pet distribution industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul McCarron as new Chief Operating Officer.
McCarron's most recent role was as Vice President of Backcountry.com, where he was recruited to successfully revitalize struggling fulfillment operations and implement a long-term strategy. Prior to his tenure at Backcountry.com, McCarron served as Vice President of Supply Chain at Staples, overseeing strategic leadership for 14 fulfillment centers and 20 last-mile delivery fleet operations. He managed a sales volume of $1.2B and led a team of over 2,000 associates across the U.S. and Canada.

McCarron joined Pet Food Experts on October 23, 2023, and will be based out of the Pet Food Experts' national headquarters in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
